Too Faced – Naked Eye palette review

Hi Lovelies,

It has been a very long time! I have so much to talk about, so here is another product review for you all.

I am so excited to be sharing with you all my comments on the Too Faced, Naked Eye palette. I was so excited when I got this palette and it has not disappointed me one bit.

Lets face it, every girl should own a neutral eye palette that suits her skin tone and eye colour, and ladies this is one that will definitely be worth it. I love using this palette for those busy days when I don’t have time for heavy blending, however don’t be fooled this palette can create some gorgeous dramatic looks worthy of any special occasion.

The colour range that you get in the Too Faced, Naked Eye palette is amazing. The eyeshadows are gorgeous, some of the shades are pigmented, they are all true to what they look like in the pan and are so wearable. You can use the shadows in the suggested ways that are shown in the palette, but I find that because the colours are so complementary I am able to try different colour combinations that have a stunning effect. Many of the shades can be used as a highlight under your brow bone and in the inner corners of your eyes. Basically, all the shades in this palette are so versatile and you can achieve any look using these neutral but dramatic shades. The eyeshadows go on easy, they have a great texture and can be easily applied. They blend very easily and because of this you can really achieve a flawless look.

The packaging is so cute, it is sturdy and the colours stay put. It also comes with three handy cards that give you complete eye looks using this palette.

My overall rating is 9.5/10 – I really enjoy using this palette, the colours, texture and pigments are amazing. It is my go to palette and I use it for almost every look.

I hope this inspires you to think more about neutral shades and to use them in your everyday or evening looks.

Have a great day and remember stay sweet xoxo

Top 3 Makeup tips for blue eyes!

Hi Lovelies,

For all my blue eyed beauties, here are my top 3 tips to having fabulous blue eyes!

1. Pick the right eyeshadow – For the office, stick with brown, rose, lavender and neutral shades. For a special date, try metallics in silver and gold, turquoise and icy pink shades.

2. Experiement for the evening – For the evening, try a smokey eye look using grey, dark blue or purple shades.

A dark blue shade will bring out the natural blue tones in blue eyes, try dark blue shades combined with black shades for that wow factor.

3. Tone down your lips – Emphasize your gorgeous blue eyes, whether they are pale blue or deep sapphire, by toning down your lip color. Pick a matte lipstick in a peachy brown shade. For your cheeks, add a light sweep of blush in a very natural hue.

I hope this helps lovelies, try out these colour combinations for a glamouros look.

Stay sweet xoxo

Top 3 Makeup tips for brown eyes!

Hi Lovelies,

For all my brown eyed beauties, here are my top 3 tips to having smouldering brown eyes!

1. For deep brown eyes – If your eyes are dark brown, medium to dark shades of eye shadow will work for you. Try plum, forest green or charcoal grey. The best shades are dark brown, mauve, gold and bronze.

2. For medium brown eyesMedium to light brown eyes can try green, violet or bronze shades. Medium brown eyes can wear almost any colour of eye makeup. Experiment by pairing neutral shadow with metallic eyeliner in copper or bronze for a dramatic evening look.

3 . For light brown eyes – Avoid using black eyeliner, use dark brown or other colours instead. For something a bit different, apply a neutral shade of shadow on the lid, a darker hue of the same colour in the crease, then line your eyes in gold or green to reflect the flecks of colour in your iris. If your eyes are hazel, try champagne tones with violet, bronze or brown liner.

I hope this helps, try these tips out and see if you can notice the difference.

Stay sweet xoxo
