Makeup Tips #4 – Eyeshadow

Hi lovelies,

When it comes to eyeshadow, one of the more favoured techniques is the smokey eye.

To widen your eyes, use a lighter shade in the inner corner and fan outwards with a darker shade.

Hint 1 – Applying the eyeshadow with a brush will give your eyes a transparent look, which is always best.

Hint 2 – A small touch of iridescent powder on your corner of your eyelids will make them look larger, as well as a lighter shade dusted on your brow bones just under the eyebrows.

Hint 3 – An essential component of a smokey eye is creating the v shape on the outer corner of the eye and remember always blend your eyeshadow.

My favourite brushes – Sigma beauty makeup brushes.

I hope this helps.

Stay sweet xoxo

Fashion Friday – Outfit post, Bourke Street Melbourne!

Hi Lovelies,

I thought I would share with you my fashion friday, outfit post!

I was heading to Bourke Street Melbourne after work with my husband for a casual dinner, so I wanted to look chic but comfortable at the same time.

I decided to wear a new top I bought at Zara, paired with my black GAP jeans and my favourite Tony Bianco black suede flat boots.

I went simple with accessories and just had on my Tiffany earrings and bracelet.

However, I made sure my makeup was the main attraction! I wore Mac cosmetics Rebel lipstick, which I adore, it is a beautiful purple, red shade. I also had on my Chanel perfection lumiere foundation, peaches blush from Mac, Urban Decay Naked 2 palette on my eyes and Mac mineralise skin finish in soft and gentle. For a bold finish, I added a winged eye using Mac black track liner.

The look is really glamorous and striking with my Rebel coloured lips, paired with the tonal blacks in my outfit, overall the look creates this timeless and elegant feeling.

Stay sweet xoxo
